The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Jalandhar. Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering & Technology, the first self-financed multi-disciplinary engineering college in the state of Punjab was established in 1996 with the view of providing world class engineering education and to imbue a spirit of social relevance among young students.  Within 19 years of its inception, SUSCET is recognized as one of the premier engineering colleges in India for its excellent academics, state of the art infrastructure, facilities and prestigious placements.

Undergraduate Courses (B.tech)

Duration : 4 Years

Eligibility : Candidates should have passed the +2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science.

Post Graduate Courses (M.tech)

• M.Tech Cad/Cam

• M.Tech Bio-Technology

• M.Tech Computer Science

• MBA


Duration : 2 Years

Eligibility : B.Tech with at least 55% marks or AMIE (Associate Member of Institute of Engineers) with at least 55% marks.

The college also offers M.Tech degree program in CSE, IT and ME both in full time and part time mode. The college, in addition, conducts MBA program with different specialization. SUS College of Engineering & Technology is the Regional Centre for Post Graduate studies including Ph.D work of IKG Punjab Technical University. SUSCET is proud to have Dr. S K Bhattacharya, with an excellent academic background and rich experience to provide leadership in planning & implementing the programs of the college.
