The Civil Engineering Department of SUSPC is the best Civil Engineering College in Chandigarh and Punjab and it aims at providing quality education and training to construction personnel. Civil engineers are problem solvers, meeting the challenges of pollution, traffic congestion, drinking water and energy needs, urban redevelopment and community planning. It has been designed to enhance quality and productivity of construction personnel. During the study, the student is exposed to various subjects of civil engineering such as planning, drafting (both manual and computer-aided), surveying, estimation, costing, construction technology, basics of the highway, railway, bridge, airport, tunnel and harbor engineering. The course also offers adequate exposure to reinforced concrete structures, quality control, material testing, construction management and entrepreneurship, professional practice and official procedures. The students also get a feel for an extensive survey, building drawing , irrigation and bridge drawing and structural engineering drawing. Students are also exposed to software like AUTOCAD & STAAD. The department has well equipped advance laboratories and highly qualified and committed faculty

Course Duration 3 years
Eligibility Must pass 10+2 from a recognized board with (Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the Mathematics/Biology shall eligible to apply.)
LEET:Pass in 10+2 vocational/10+2 Non-Medical/I.T.I
