Electrical Engineering is a branch of study which deals with Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Utilization of electricity. Electronics engineering is an offshoot of electrical engineering, which deals with the theory and use of electronic devices in which electronics are transported through vacuum gas and semi- conductors. Modern computers and digital communication system are advances of electronics. Introduction of very large scale integrated (VLSI) circuits has led to miniaturization of electronic systems. Automatic control system is another area related to both electrical and electronics engineering. Because of more and more use of automation and electronic controls, it has become necessary to study electrical and electronics engineering in an integrated manner. Student will find electrical and electronics engineering as an exciting field of study.
Electrical engineers work in very wide range of industries and the skills are required likewise variable. These range from circuit theory to the management skills of the project manager. Placement offers to the students have always shown an ever increasing trend and promise to be the best in future with the incoming boom of Power sector. A good number of students have been absorbed by various Government and Public Sector Power Utilities & campus placement under Campus Recruitment Program.

Looking back, the most rewarding aspect of my graduation from SUSCET was that it allowed me to get a glimpse into a side of engineering that was unknown to me before. College provided me the perfect setting to gain inspiration and explore the wealth of internships and volunteering opportunities in India and abroad, which shaped up the main ethical foundation of my entrepreneurial career.
